Beer and BBQ with Chef Aarón Sánchez Raised Funds in New Hampshire for Latino Youth

Over 100 Guests Gathered in Support of the Aarón Sánchez Impact Fund

Littleton, New Hampshire—The Aarón Sánchez Impact Fund, a program of Emeril Lagasse Foundation that uplifts the lives of Latino youth through food, produced Beer and BBQ with Chef Aarón Sánchez on Monday, June 10, 2024. The fundraising event was held at Schilling Beer Co. in Littleton, NH. A cast of regional award-winning chefs prepared BBQ-inspired tastings served alongside select Schilling beers to a sold-out crowd.

Guests had the opportunity to mingle with Chef Aarón, as well as featured chefs Bobby Marcotte from Tuckaway Tavern and Butchery, Cyle Reynolds from Crispy Gai, David Vargas and William Myska from Ore Nell’s BBQ, Keith Sarasin from Aatma, Kaylee Sweeney from Crumb Bum Bakery, and Danai Srisprasert and Kritsadakorn Auppakaew from Boda.

“We are honored to have continued support from New Hampshire residents and businesses for our Latino youth-focused program,” said Chef Aarón. “This event’s funding will provide food access, nutrition education, and culinary arts education for Latino youth across the United States.”

The event raised over $27,000 for the Aarón Sánchez Impact Fund. Since 2016, the Impact Fund has awarded 19 culinary arts scholarships to young Latinos valued at over $1.2 million and is expanding its work into human services.

This was the Impact Fund’s second time hosting an event in the Granite State. In September 2022, Chef Aarón was featured at a fundraiser at The Pickering House in Wolfeboro, NH, that raised over $21,000 from sponsorships, ticket sales, and a live auction.

Beer and BBQ with Chef Aarón Sánchez was generously sponsored by Schilling Beer Co., Granite State Dispatch, Pantry Posies and Chang Thai Café.
